Norwex Microfiber.....Experience the Difference!

I am so excited to bring Norwex microfiber to downtown Chicago!  Having access to these fabulous products will bring your green cleaning to a new level.
One of the most recent technological developments in the past 10 years has been the ability to produce extremely fine fibers.  These “micro-fibers” have allowed us to make huge strides in the green cleaning industry.
How does microfiber work?  When used properly, microfiber picks up matter from a surface’s microscopic pores to achieve a real CLEAN.  Traditional cleaning methods apply chemicals to a surface thereby disinfecting that surface, however some dirt remains in surface pores as a normal cotton fiber only attracts some dirt and spreads the rest around the surface.  Norwex microfiber uses capillary action to pull dirt and grease within the fibers and away from the surface.
You are probably wondering, “what makes Norwex microfiber different from other micrifibers?”  First, Norwex microfibers are 1/100th the size of a human hair which provides superior “grabbing” power.  One gram of Norwex microfiber will span over 70,000 meters.  In each Norwex Enviro Cloth there is approximately 2.9 million meters of microfiber. If you started to unravel the fibers in an Enviro Cloth starting in Manitoba, Canada you stretch the fibers all the way down to the Gulf of Mexico.  That is a LOT of fiber in one little cloth!  Retailers can categorize a cloth as microfiber if the fibers are 1/6th the size of a human hair.  That may seem small to you, but consider that Norwex microfiber is 10 times finer which allows the Norwex microfibers to clean that much more effectively.  Norwex microfiber has also been scientifically proven to remove 99.9% of bacteria from whatever surface you’re wiping…using only WATER!  Our microfibers pick up and hold onto the dirt and bacteria from any hard surface in your home.
The cleaning power of a retail store microfiber cloth is significantly diminished after only a few washes, where as Norwex Antibac cloths have been shown to last seven years or longer, and even after 500 washes, studies have found that an Antibac cloth still picks up more than 99% of bacteria. Another difference between the 2 types of microfiber, is that you can't put most retail store cloths in the dryer after laundering, but you can dry Norwex microfiber in the dryer. It may not seem like such a big deal until you try finding them in a pile of your wet laundry...that is just a pain!
The second factor that makes Norwex microfiber unique is the patented silver technology incorporated into the cloths.  Micro-silver is woven into Norwex cloths and bound to the microfibers permanently.  Silver is a natural element that creates an environment where bacteria cannot live or breath, thus reducing bacteria by 99.9% within hours.  This means cleaner cloths, less frequent laundering and reduction in cross-contamination (which allows you to use just one cloth throughout your entire house).  One of the major benefits of this is that your Norwex microfibers will not smell!  No live bacteria in the cloth equals no awful smells.
Microfiber can be used dry to dust or wet to clean.  When using Norwex microfiber dry the static effect attracts dirt and dust particles.  Wet Norwex microfibers for an effective clean to any hard surface.  Wet, wring and wipe.  It’s that easy!  From our Enviro Cloths to our Polishing Cloths to our Dusting Mitts to our Mops….THAT is the Norwex difference.
I am so excited to bring Norwex microfiber to Chicago so people now have access to it right downtown!
